Please can patients of our surgery inform the reception staff if they are a carer for someone. Also please can patients of our surgery inform the reception staff if they have a carer.

Dr Anne Beden will be carrying out minor surgery for the removal of lumps and bumps, skin tags and administrating steroid injections. Please inform the reception staff if you require any minor surgery procedures undertaken.

Deana Gibbs has joined the surgery as a HCA/Phlebotomist. She will be carrying out: NHS Health Checks, ECGs, Blood tests including fasting HBA1C blood tests. From September she will carry out immunisations and vaccinations (B12, pneumonia, shingles, ACWY and the flu vaccinations). Also Asthma and spirometry testing from October.

A catch–up programme offering MenACWY vaccination to all 13 to 19 year olds and new university entrants is starting from August 2015. A new vaccination programme, which will offer all 17 and 18 year olds in school year 13 a combined vaccine that protects against the A, C, W and Y strains of meningococcal disease, begins today. The vaccine will also be available to older students starting university this year.

We are holding a Cancer Roadshow at the surgery on: Wednesday 28th September with MacMillan Cancer, between 2-3pm.
